First off, we believe that our client's needs come before our own.
As a home buyer, what this means to you is that we will never choose which houses to show you based on the commission we'll make by selling that house. We also won't show you homes you can't afford or try to convince you to consider areas you aren't interested in.
As a home seller, us putting your needs first means that we will never tell you that your house is worth more than it is worth in order to get your listing. We will never use your home just to find new clients. And we will never try to talk you into signing an unacceptable offer just so we make a sale.
The Alexander Team believes that treating clients like we want to be treated is the only way to operate our business.
We believe that if we do our job well, The Alexander Team is who you will turn to when your next real estate need arises and/or when a friend or family member is thinking about buying or selling a home.
Incidentally, some of our best sources for referrals were never clients but rather people we met who didn't actually need our services. Rather than try to get them to "sign on" with us, we gave them the information they needed and went on our way. It is amazing how people react when they realize that we're not just after a check; that we actually care about their needs, their plans, and their goals.
The Alexander Team also believes in giving back to the community. That is why most of the transactions we handle involve a charitable component. Before we get paid, local charities get paid. And often it is our clients who designate where the money from the donation ends up.
Finally, the Alexander Team knows and understands that most people prefer to think about buying or selling a home and conduct some research on their own without an agent looking over their shoulder or breathing down their neck. Most agents don't grasp that simple truth and they will hound you until you "buy or die" (to borrow a popular real estate phrase).
